Plantar Fasciitis accounts for around 80% of cases of heel pain*

COMMON CAUSES

  • Plantar Fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel pain. It occurs when the thick band of tissue that runs along the bottom of the foot becomes inflammed. As the arch flattens, the bone ends move closer together which can cause the soft tissue to be pinched or trapped.
  • Metatarsalgia refers to pain in the ball of the foot and is often an overuse injury. It is particularly prevalent in athletes who regularly undertake high impact sports such as running, football and tennis.

SYMPTOMS

  • Plantar Fasciitis tends to feel like a stabbing sensation and is most common in people who run
  • Metatarsalgia can be felt as a burning, sharp or shooting pain which can extend to tingling in the toes and numbness sharp or shooting pains.

Sorbothane insoles limit the trauma caused to the body during exercise.

  • As the foot strikes the ground during high impact sports like running and football, the polymer deforms to disperse shockwaves laterally, preventing them from travelling up through the body.
  • Sorbothane's shock absorbing polymer disperses 94.7% of shockwaves to prevent damage to ligaments, muscles and tendons.
  • Keep your feet cool and dry with COOLMAX, —Engineered to provide ultimate breathability by wicking away moisture from the body during sustained, high intensity activity.
  • A topsheet with antibacterial properties keeps odour at bay.
